The IIC Cell of IMS conducted an insightful session on ‘Entrepreneurship Skills, Attitude, and Behaviour Development’ on 9th October 2024, led by Er. Divya Jamwal, Coordinator of the Management Department. The session was designed to inspire students and equip them with the essential skills and mindset required for entrepreneurial success.
Er. Jamwal presented a comprehensive PPT, starting with the fundamental question of “Who is an Entrepreneur?” She outlined the critical competencies required to excel as an entrepreneur, including being a risk-taker, having curiosity, being perceptive, and possessing imagination. She passionately emphasized that the rewards of entrepreneurship extend beyond financial profit—it allows individuals to be their own boss and follow their passions.
The session also highlighted why entrepreneurship is crucial in India, as it fosters innovation, creates new employment opportunities, attracts Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and helps improve the quality of life. Er. Jamwal guided students through the essential steps to change their attitudes and behaviors, encouraging them to adopt an entrepreneurial outlook in their lives.
Additionally, the presentation introduced students to the inspiring journeys of famous entrepreneurs such as Piyush Bansal, Vandana Luthra, Kunal Shah, and Bhavish Aggarwal, whose success stories served as powerful motivators for the audience.
The session ended on a high note with an engaging Q&A, where students eagerly asked questions and clarified their doubts. Er. Jamwal’s passion and knowledge left the students motivated to embark on their own entrepreneurial journeys, confident in their abilities to make a difference.
