About the speakers

Aditya Arora 

At 17, he had successfully sold his first company – Aditya Arora is a promising young entrepreneur with various achievements under his belt. His passion to teach poor kids fetched him Microsoft Top 15 Changemakers Award under the age of 20, Duke of  Edinburgh Award, and also the Parliamentary Meritorious Award.
Further, he started interning at Faad when he was 19 building the startup ecosystem for them and went on to become its CEO by 21. Today, Faad is one of the leading Investor networks in  India has a network base of more than 200+ investors and closing almost 10 transactions to the day. Aditya will be speaking about how young brigade can charge up and start taking more authority in whatever they do. Also, he will be sharing his entrepreneurial journey with the Govt of Delhi which has fetched him one of the youngest nominations for the prestigious Padma Shri Award at 23.

Ashish Khare

With more than 25 years’ experience in successful business leadership,  Ashish Khare has led teams and organizations to innovate, build, implement business solutions & products in the field of Information Technology and services for customers across 20+ countries.
With huge experience working with individuals and teams (students, executives, or entrepreneurs) to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, achieve their development objectives, unlock their potential, and act as a future leader. Dr, Isha Sharma – Assistant Professor, ICccR &HRM, University of Jammu, was the resource person for the lecture. She is also the Regional Mentor of Change for Atal Innovation Mission, Niti Aayog, Government of India. She spoke on the Topic: Change Management: Managing People-Tech Interfaces in Future Workplaces.

The session started with a welcome address by Asst. Prof Ms. Gurshish Kour. This was followed by an hour-long session by Dr. Isha on how futuristic skills such as HR analytics, Artificial intelligence, and Digital technology will drive employment opportunities and organization’s in the coming years.

She focused on changes sweeping through Work, Workplace, and Workforces and encouraged students to ready themselves with the changing scenario in the job market. The lecture ended with a Q & A session with the students and faculty. The session was concluded by Asst Prof. Dr, Meenakshi Sharma, who presented the formal Vote of Thanks.

The session was on the Topic “Career options for MBA in the software industry” and it started with a welcome address by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma (Asst Prof. IMS). In the session, he highlighted the various career options that MBA candidates have in the software industry. He also pointed out the key elements that would help students in pursuing their future endeavors in the IT sector. The session was enlightening for the students helping them decipher the path to succeed in the corporate world.
