A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said Shri Narendra Modi as he launched the Swachh Bharat Mission at Rajpath in New Delhi. Swachh Bharat Mission was launched throughout the country as a national movement. The campaign aims to achieve the vision of a ‘Clean India’.

In pursuit of the vision of Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan, organized by the Government of India, the students of the Institute of Management Sciences, organized a Cleanliness Drive Campaign in the college. The team cleaned various areas and collected garbage from the premises inside the college campus. The voluntary gesture on the part of the students extended the message of the Clean India Movement among their family and friends.

The cleanliness drive also spread the notion that it is everybody’s responsibility to keep themselves and their surroundings clean and hygienic. It also brings good and positive thoughts in the mind which slows down the occurrence of diseases.
