A Two day Induction program was organized by Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu for the academic 2019-21 Batch of MBA. The program started with a welcome address by Director, IMS Dr. J.R. Dhotra, who stressed upon experiential learning along with the regular class room approach.
This was followed by an address by Dean Academics Dr. S.K. Gupta who encouraged the new Batch of students to make optimum use of next two years to hone their skills and abilities for corporate world. The first session ended with Reward and Recognition presentation for meritorious students of previous batches and was presided over by Chief Coordinator Er. Nidhi Jamwal.
                                        
The Post lunch session was filled with management games and fun activities such as Know your Neighbour and Display your talent. The session concluded with a lecture on ‘Transition from College to Corporate Life’ by Mr. Sandeep Pandita SPO, Jamwal Group.
The second day of Induction programme was themed as ‘Corporate Day’ with activities and guest lecturers based on business world. Mr. Nikhil Grover, Branch Manager, J&K Bank, Domana, Jammu took a session on ‘Corporate Expectations from Freshers’. His Associate Ms. Monika Jamwal briefed the students about internship opportunities. Another session on Business Etiquettes was taken by Ms. Gurshish Kour followed by a marketing activity on Advertisement creation to enhance the marketing skills of the students. The two Day programme concluded with felicitation of students who showed outstanding participation in the various activities.
                                        
A formal vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Gurshish Kour after the introduction of Faculty to the students.
