Social Club of IMS, Jammu organized Charity Drive

IMS organised a Charitable Drive under the umbrella of Social club to promote the responsibility of giving back to the society on 1st of Feb 2025

Students from Management as well Computer science department along with teaching and non- teaching staff of the institution contributed enthusiastically for the cause to aid philanthropy amongst themselves.

The highlight of the event was a touching gift-giving ceremony held at the college, where our dedicated supporting staff were honored and appreciated for their invaluable contributions.

The ceremony was filled with gratitude as tokens of appreciation were handed out, fostering a sense of unity and appreciation within the college community. It was a meaningful way to recognize the hard work and dedication of the supporting staff.

In addition to the ceremony, our charity drive extended its reach to the broader community as the faculty along with the Student council collected the required materials and distributed them among various organisations.

The drive continued with a visit to Resident for Blind School (Boys & Girls) in Roop Nagar followed by a visit to Orphanage, Ved Mandir located in Amphalla, Jammu

The students, interacted with the kids placed in these institutions and the interaction along with the aid distribution made the whole experience worthwhile for them.

The Council was accompanied by Management department coordinator Mrs. Divya Jamwal Asst. Prof. Ms. Gurshish Kour.
