Republic Day Celebrations at IMS College – 26th January 2025
IMS College celebrated 76th Republic Day on 26th January 2025 with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and a focus on mental well-being. The event was organized by the Social Club in collaboration with the Literary Club, under the theme “Healthy Minds, Stronger India” – highlighting the importance of mental health in shaping a brighter future for our country.
The celebration began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, led by the Director of IMS, along with the Chief Coordinator IMS, faculty, staff, and students. Together, they hoisted the national flag, followed by the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana, which filled the air with pride and unity.
The day also featured thought-provoking activities. The Essay Writing Competition for BBA/BCA students focused on the topic “The Role of Mental Well-being in Shaping India’s Future,” providing a platform for students to reflect on the importance of mental health in national progress. Additionally, MBA students engaged in a dynamic Group Discussion on “Mental Well-being Among Youth of India,” examining the challenges and solutions surrounding mental health among the youth and its impact on the nation’s growth.
This Republic Day was not just a celebration of freedom but also a reminder of the crucial role mental well-being plays in building a stronger and prosperous India.
