Plantation Drive in IMS

A tree plantation drive was organized in the premises of Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu on 7th March, 2022. Prayas – The Social Club of IMS celebrated the day by planting new plants in the college premises.

The faculty and students of BBA, MBA and BCA participated enthusiastically in planting trees and beautifying the college environment. Dr. J R Dhotra, Director IMS, lauded the efforts of the students and encouraged then to be aware of their responsibilities towards environment and natural resources. He hoped that students will continue their efforts towards improving and conserving their immediate surroundings and become environmentally sensitive future corporate citizens. The Management along with the faculty of Management Studies and Computer Applications, provided full support and cooperation to the students who participated in this initiative. All together, more than 100 plants (flowering as well as medicinal) were planted at different spots in the premises during the plantation drive.
