Interactive session for the students of MBA on “Career options for MBA in the software industry”

An interactive session was organized by the management department of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) for the students of MBA.
The session was conducted by Mr. Sanjeev Mangotra (Vice President – Engineering, Kronos Solutions)
He is an experienced IT professional with approx. 30 years in the industry. Over these years, he has worked in large Indian IT companies like CMC (now part of TCS), Patni Computer Systems (now part of Capgemini), and LNT Infotech. For the past 10 years, he has been working in a Multinational S/W product company, Kronos Solutions as the Vice President – Engineering.

     
The session was on the Topic “Career options for MBA in the software industry” and it started with a welcome address by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma (Asst Prof. IMS). In the session, he highlighted the various career options that MBA candidates have in the software industry. He also pointed out the key elements that would help students in pursuing their future endeavors in the IT sector. The session was enlightening for the students helping them decipher the path to succeed in the corporate world.

The session concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Ms. Gurshish Kour (Asst prof. IMS).
