Institute innovation Council of IMS Jammu celebrated National Pollution Control Day

The day comprised of following activities and contests —

1. Creating awareness by displaying articles, posters and drawings on Pollution.

2. Poster making competition– On Causes and effect of pollution. The winners are:

Ist – Varsha Chowdhary BBA 1

2nd – Vandana Kumari BCA 1

3rd – Tania BBA 1

3. Video on Pollution. The winners are:

1st Manik Sharma BBA 5

2nd Nitesh Koul BBA 1

Students participated in both the Competitions with enthusiasm. As per President, IIC, IMS Dr. Meenakshi Sharma who also judged the contests, the motive was to generate awareness and exposure among the young students regarding the importance of having a clean environment for our future generations.

The event was coordinated by Asst Prof. Sheetal Sharma with the help of Faculty Ms Taruna Sumbria, Ms. Shivani, Vaid, Ms Sonali Sharma and Ms. Poonam Sabharwal.
