Industrial Visit to Jai Beverages, Bari Brahmana, Jammu

Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) Jammu organized an Industrial Visit for the students of final year BBA (5th semester) and first year MBA (Ist semester) on September 20, 2019. As part of BBA & MBA programme, the students are required to undertake an industrial visit to an organization of repute for practical insight & understanding with regard to the functioning of an industrial unit viz; Production, Finance, Human Resources & Marketing and for getting corporate exposure.

The students visited Jai Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Bari Brahmana, Jammu which is one of the largest Pepsi plants owned by the JAIPURIA Group. It is the leading supplier of Pepsico products in J&K with a variety of products such as Mountain Dew, Slice, Pepsi, Nimbooz, Mineral water etc.

The students were taken through a tour of manufacturing plant where they observed the working and mechanism of plant operations. The visit concluded with an interactive session with Mr. Sushil Ruhela, GM HRAD & Litigation where he answered the queries of the students. Overall, the visit was very informative and provided a great experience to the students.
