IMS organises Induction ceremony for BBA & BCA 1st semester

Institute of management sciences organized a two-day induction ceremony for the students of BBA and BCA 1st semester on 16th and 17th of August, 2019. The ceremony commenced with the welcome address by Prof. S.K. Gupta, Dean Academics, IMS who also presented a college presentation and highlighted the various academic practices, activities, code of conduct, rules and regulation of the institution.

Mr. Sandeep Pandita, Strategic Planning and operation, JGEI also presented a presentation highlighting the industry connect and scope of the courses to the students and their parents. Furthermore, a R & R (Reward and Recognition) segment was also conducted where the meritorious students of BBA and BCA of past semesters were awarded prizes for their outstanding performance in their university examinations.

Towards the end Prof. J.R. Dhotra, Director, IMS addressed the crowd and conveyed his best wishes to the students for the new phase of their college life. The ceremony was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma, Asst. Prof., IMS

The ceremony witnessed the presence of Prof J.R. Dhotra, Director, IMS, Prof. S.K. Gupta, Dean Academics, IMS; Mr. Sandeep Pandita, Strategic Planning and operation, JGEI and Er. Nidhi Jamwal, Chief Coordinator, IMS. This two-day event was an amalgamation of technical and non-technical activities which provided an insight to the students about the campus, curriculum and their future scope by highlighting the impact of hard skills and soft skills for their professional capability building for better career outcomes.
