IMS Jammu Organizes Business- Tech Conclave — MANTHAN 2k24

Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu organized Manthan 2k24 – A Business and Technical conclave on 22nd of March 2024 in the college campus. The event aimed to bring together students from various institutes to participate in a range of events and showcase their skills and talents.

The inauguration ceremony started with a welcome address by Director, IMS — Dr. Meenakshi Sharma who formally welcomed all the distinguished guests. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Sushil Ruhela, GM HRAD & Litigation, Jai Beverages Pvt Ltd. He advised the students to work hard and enjoy their College life. Prof J.R. Dhotra, Er. Nidhi Jamwal, Chief coordinator, IMS ,Guest faculties from participating colleges, and students of IMS and other institutions were present in the inauguration ceremony.

Around 150 students from various colleges such as GDC Paloura (Mishriwala), SHTM (Jammu University), Dogra Degree college, Trikuta College etc. participated to showcase their skills and competencies. The event featured an array of competitions such as Extempore, Ad Mad, Launch of the product, Quiz, Code-A-Thon and Blindfold Games. These events were designed to stimulate creative thinking, promote teamwork, and develop problem-solving skills in the participants.

The conclave also witnessed the inauguration of Bi- Annual edition of IMS newsletter – ‘REFLECTION’ by our distinguished guests. The conclave concluded with a cultural programme with beautiful Dogri and Kashmiri folk dances and the prize distribution ceremony. Ms. Gurshish kour, Asst. Professor, IMS gave a formal Vote of Thanks where she expressed gratitude to all the participants, various colleges, and staff who made this event possible.
