IMS, Jammu organized an event on Union Budget 2025-26
The Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of IMS Jammu organized an event on February 10, 2025, focusing on enhancing students’ knowledge of the Union Budget 2025-26 and key government initiatives. The objective was to ensure awareness and knowledge regarding the latest budgetary policies and takeaways for different sections of society as well as new entrepreneurs.
The event featured a quiz-based competition titled “Budget Challenge 2025-26,” designed to test students’ understanding of the Union Budget. The quiz comprised three rounds, with increasing levels of difficulty, covering various aspects of the budget, including fiscal policies, allocations, and key reforms. A total of 13 teams from BBA, BCA, and MBA actively participated in the competition, demonstrating their analytical and strategic thinking skills.

The winners of the Budget Challenge 2025-26 were Vaibhav Parihar and Vridhi Jain of MBA 2nd Semester, who showcased exceptional knowledge and analytical skills throughout the competition.
This initiative reflects IMS’s ongoing commitment to providing students with holistic development. Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS, and the Coordinators of both the Management and Computer Departments congratulated the faculty and students for their enthusiasm and encouraged the organization of more such insightful events in the future.
