IMS, Jammu organized Alumni Meet 2K24

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu recently held an Alumni Meet, bringing together alumni, faculty, and esteemed guests for an evening dedicated to celebrating achievements, strengthening bonds, and fostering connections across generations of IMS graduates. The event welcomed alumni from various fields, each making remarkable strides in their careers.

The gathering was inaugurated with a warm welcome extended by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IMS, alongside Senior Professor Prof. J.R. Dhotra, Coordinator of both Departments and Assistant Professor Ms. Gurshish Kour.

As part of the event, several distinguished alumni were invited to share their inspiring stories. Notable alumni included Mr. Aditya Sharma, ASM at Jai Beverages Pvt Ltd; Ms. Payal Koul, Associate Consultant at Capgemini; Mr. Ujwal Manhas, IT Helpdesk Engineer at RVS iGlobal; and Mr. Sahil Sharma, Entrepreneur and political figure from the Jammu region. They discussed their journey so far and highlighted the diversity of paths IMS alumni have taken and the significant impact they are making across industries.

In addition, the event recognized a group of alumni achievers whose dedication and professional milestones have contributed to the reputation of IMS Jammu. Among them were Mr. Aryamann Singh, owner of Shiv Shakti & Pace Hyundai Jammu; Mr. Mohit Kumar Sharma, cricketer and researcher on the Wool and Pelt Project at SKUAST; and Mr. Rahul Sharma, founder and MD of Monk Solution, among others.

The event concluded with closing remarks from Prof. J.R. Dhotra.

Chairman JGEI, Er Vidhi S Jamwal, Managing Director, Er Renu Bangroo, Vice Chairman Sh Shiv dev Singh Jamwal congratulated Director and staff of the institute and said that IMS Jammu looks forward to more such gatherings, The evening was a reminder of the institution’s commitment to fostering enduring connections and supporting the growth of its alumni network.
