IIC Club of IMS Jammu celebrated Innovation Day
The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Club of IMS Jammu celebrated Innovation Day in honor of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary. The event began with an insightful presentation by Vaibhav and Vridhi, students from MBA Semester 1, who showcased a detailed
PPT on India’s Top 5 Disruptive Innovations. The presentation highlighted groundbreaking companies such as Zerodha, Jio, Physics Wallah, UPI and Ola
, illustrating their significant contributions to transforming industries and making India a leader in innovation.
Following the presentation, the event moved towards its highlight—the Short Video Making Competition, centered on the theme “Life Story of Entrepreneurs.” This competition provided a platform for students to research and creatively present the inspiring journeys of prominent entrepreneurs.
Winners of the competition:
– Karmanya (BBA 1) secured the 1st position for his video on Bhavish Aggarwal, co-founder of Ola.
– Puneet (BBA 5) earned the 2nd position for his presentation on Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, showcasing the inspiring life of the transgender rights activist and entrepreneur.
The day saw enthusiastic participation from students, emphasizing IMS’s commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The event successfully ignited a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation among the students, in line with Dr. Kalam’s vision of progress through knowledge and innovation.
