Department of Management Studies, IMS organized a Guest Lecture

Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu (Management Studies Department) organized a Guest Lecture on 25th May, 2022 under the newly created Institution Innovation Cell. The resource person was Mr. Annil Suri — President & CEO at A B Consultants who apprised the students regarding the basics of Entrepreneurship and the importance of Innovation in today’s dynamic business environment. Mr. Suri who has been in forefront of Entrepreneurship in J & K region, used daily life examples to explain how small things can lead to innovative ideas. Having been the President of Chamber of Commerce for several years, he was in a unique position to explain the business environment of today with focus on J & K. The Guest Lecture was attended by the students and faculty of MBA and BBA courses.
The session started with a warm welcome to Mr. Annil Suri who was presented a Bouquet by Prof. J R Dhotra as a token of appreciation. This was followed by an hour long session by Mr. Suri where he interacted with students regarding their career aspirations. He motivated the students to follow their dreams and answered their queries regarding starting a business organization. The session was concluded by Prof. Dr. J R Dhotra who thanked Mr. Suri for his invaluable insights and presented the formal Vote of Thanks.
