The topic of the Webinar was “Emotional Intelligence” and the Resource person was Ms. Meenakshi Rathore – Founder C2BCoach and NLP Trainer and Practitioner.  She has more than 14 years of experience in in IT Industry and has experience in various areas such as Project management, Product implementation and Support (ERP, Banking and Finance applications). With various certifications such as PMP, CSM, ITIL under her belt, she has worked with companies like HSBC, RBS and Nucleus Software to name a few.

The session started with a welcome address by Asst. Prof Dr. Meenakshi Sharma and was followed by an hour-long session by Ms. Rathore where she discussed the importance and different aspects of Emotional Intelligence and Emotional Quotient in Life and Workplace. She explained how people with higher EQ have been found to be better performers at the workplace and thus can command better pay packages and succeed in life. She also advised students to follow the STAG technique to manage and understand emotions in self and others. It was a highly interactive session which ended with an engaging Q & A session with the students and faculty. The session was concluded by Asst Prof. Ms. Gurshish Kour who thanked Ms. Rathore for her invaluable insights and presented the formal Vote of Thanks.

As mandated by AICTE and promoted by Ministry of Education, Govt of India, NDL is an online digital library platform for the students to access authenticated content in a wide range of subjects and type of learning resource. Similarly, NDLI club was established as mandate of National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) to set up Learning based Activities Club and organize Learning Activities for students in schools and colleges.

Dr. Meenakshi Sharma – Assistant Professor, IMS Jammu, was the resource person for the session. She described the various aspects of National Digital Library and how it can be used by students and faculty for enhancing their knowledge and career growth. She also explained how the NDLI club can be used as a platform for learning based activities and encouraged students to participate in more such events.

With this event, IMS, Jammu joined the prestigious NDLI Club family and provided the students of the institute a comprehensive digital platform for their learning needs.  The session was concluded by Asst Prof. Gurshish Kour, who thanked the Resource person, Faculty and Students of the institute for their support and enthusiasm for the NDLI Club.

He discussed the importance and application of Lean principles in the growth of any organization. He also explained how business corporations are using Lean concepts for continual improvement and remain relevant in today’s dynamic environment. The webinar ended with an engaging Q & A session with the students and faculty.
