The programme was witnessed by Er. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman, JGEI  in the presence of host of dignitaries. Dr. Meenakshi Sharma Director Incharge IMS ,  Prof. J.R. Dhotra,  Dr. Mukul Rana  Director YCET, Faculty and students of the institution  graced the occasion.

The major attractions of Tejaswi 2022 included competition like  Rangoli making, Desert making, Mehandi/Tattoo, Short film  and Corporate stalls. The programme was rounded up with a sensational cultural event high-lightning the ethnic attire of festivities  with a show stopping Fashion show , Dances  and singing performances.

Finally, the function concluded with presentation of Medals to winners by the management and vote of thanks delivered by Prof. J.R. Dhotra.

“The power of a dad in a child’s life is unmatched.” 

Father’s Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. On June 21st,2020 Institute of Management Sciences organized lockdown activities to commemorate the father’s day celebration.

The first contest in the series of events was “THE RECREATE LENS” where contestants clicked a picture with their father and recreated their childhood photograph in the same pose.

The winners of the event were
1st position– Kamil Kour (BBA-4th Sem) & Manav Dhar (BCA-2nd Sem)
2nd position– Preeti Bhat (BBA- 2nd Sem)

The Second contest in the series of events was “ARTISTRY” where the participants fashioned various creations using any kind of art/craft (e.g. Painting, portrait, collage, sand art, etc) to express love for their dad.

Mother’s day is a special day, for all children and mothers as, it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is everlasting. Mothers are the emotional backbone of the family, who has the magic touch to heal all wounds and make all things beautiful.

The students of IMS celebrated Mother’s Day by organizing an E-contest. The event was held on 10^th May, 2020. The E-contest comprised of three activities.

The first activity was “Most innovative selfie”. The students enthusiastically participated and clicked some precious moments with their moms.

The contest included several rounds consisting of singing, dancing, talent display, and the like, which wove the magic of fun and joy in the event. In the last and final “Questionnaire Round”, the contestants had to prove that they were persons with beauty and brains, having the presence of mind and confidence & not only to give the correct answers but also to communicate these properly and effectively.

At the end of the very enjoyable competition, Ms. Riya Nanda & Mr. Akshay Bhawani were selected as Miss. & Mr. Fresher 2019 respectively. After the competition, it was for the freshers and seniors to rock the party with dancing and grooving. Finally, the program ended, leaving behind sweet memories that will be cherished lifelong.

In India Teachers’ Day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a renowned scholar, recipient of Bharat Ratna, first Vice- President and second President of independent India. He was born on 5 September, 1888. As an educationist, he was an advocate of edification, and was a distinguished envoy, academician, and above all a great teacher.

The students presented their teachers with beautiful titles as a token of appreciation and showed their gratitude by various dance and singing performances.
Prof. J.R. Dhotra , Director IMS addressed the gathering by acknowledging their amazing efforts and guided them to a future of respect and gratitude towards their teachers and parents.

Prof S.K. Gupta also addressed the crowd and threw light on the life and journey of the great Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.
At the end, the celebration was concluded by cutting the cake to mark the celebratory spirit of the event.
