  4. To strengthen industry-institute interface and promote Entrepreneurial development activities.
  5. To have collaboration with leading universities of the world with a view to provide opportunities to the students for higher studies &; seek placement avenues abroad.

Eligibility

The course is open to a candidate who has qualified Higher Secondary Part-II examination (10+2) pattern of J&K Board of School Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with at least 50% of aggregate marks in case of General Category and 45% marks in case of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe candidates.

Admission Process

For admission to the course the candidate has to apply to the Director College Development Council (DCDC), University of Jammu. The DCDC conducts the counselling and allot the college/institution as per the preference of the candidate, however, subject to the availability of seats in the College/Institute. The admission fee is to be paid at the time of counselling through a Bank Draft as required in favor of Director College Development Council, University of Jammu. At the time of admission in the Institute the candidate has to be accompanied by his/her guardian. The following documents are to be submitted to the Institute at the time of admission: –

  1. Seven copies of pass-port size photographs.
  2. Three copies of marks card of 10th class and Date of Birth Certificate.
  3. Four copies of marks card of 10+2 examination.
  4. Provisional Certificate or School/College leaving Certificate.
  5. Character Certificate.
  6. Migration Certificate in case the candidate who has qualified 10+2 examination from boards other than J&K Board of School Education.
  7. Affidavit to be submitted by a candidate who has break in his studies.

BBA Program Objectives

  1. Students should be able to exhibit understanding of broad business concepts and principles.
  2. Students should be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills to address diverse business challenges and opportunities.
  3. Students should be able to imbibe business professionalism and deliver effective oral business presentations using a variety of appropriate technologies.
  4. Students should be able to use analytical and reflective thinking techniques to identify and analyze problems, develop viable alternatives, and make effective decisions.
  5. Students should be able to make effective decisions relating to business ethics and social responsibility.

BBA Program Outcomes

  1. Critical Thinking Skills: Students are able to define, analyze, and devise solutions for structured and unstructured business problems and issues using cohesive and logical reasoning patterns for evaluating information, materials, and data.
  2. Communication Skills: Students are able to conceptualize a complex issue into a coherent written statement and oral presentation.
  3. Technology Skills: Students are competent in the uses of technology in modern organizational operations.
  4. Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Students can demonstrate the fundamentals of creating and managing innovation, new business development, and high-growth potential entities.
  5. Business Knowledge: Students can demonstrate technical competence in domestic and global business through the study of major disciplines within the fields of business.

  • Affidavit in case of gap period attested by Notary.
  • Passport size Photographs- 8 copies.
  • Category Certificate (if Applicable): Original Category certificate along-with two attested photocopies required.
