An Orientation Program organized for BBA/ BCA 2nd Sem

An Orientation Program for the students of BBA& BCA 2nd semester was organized on 12th of February 2024 in the college campus.

The program witnessed the presence of Guest of Honor, an imminent and popular Dogra Journalist Mr. Ashish Kohli; Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS; Prof. J.R. Dhotra, Professor IMS; faculty members and students of IMS

The orientation program commenced with the welcome addresses by Prof.J.R. Dhotra. He welcomed the students for the upcoming semester . This was followed by an informative session by our Guest of Honor Mr. Ashish Kohli, where he interacted with the students of the institute. This session entailed the theme of Career options in Journalism. The session was extremely insightful and informative for the students.

Following this session, Coordinator Management and Computer science department, Er. Divya Jamwal and Mrs. Sheetal Sharma addressed the students and gave an elaborative description of the subject in the upcoming semester of BBA & BCA.

To continue with the theme of student enhancement, an IT workshop was organized for the students to learn and practice their MS office skills. The workshop was conducted by Computer science department faculty Mrs. Priya Gupta and Ms. Nisha Langeh. The workshop focused on Word skills.

The orientation program was concluded by a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS.
