An Interactive session on the story of addiction and substance

Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu organized an Interactive session on the story of addiction and substance abuse by Dr. Tanvir Singh, Professor, University of Toledo, Ohio, USA.
The guest speaker highlighted the scenario regarding the drug epidemic in the country and emphasis was given on the preventive measures that needs to be adopted to cease the spread of substance abuse.
The Guest Lecture was attended by the students and faculty of BBA and BCA and MBA  courses.
The session started with a warm welcome to Mr Tanvir Singh who was presented with a Bouquet by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS as a token of appreciation.  This was followed by an hour-long session by Mr. Tanvir Singh where he interacted with students regarding drug addiction and abuse. He motivated the students to recognise the impact of drug use  and answered their various queries . The session was concluded by Prof J R Dhotra who presented the guest of honour with memento as a token of gratitude and he concluded the session with his valuable words and acknowledged for the guest’s invaluable insights and presented the formal Vote of Thanks.
