IMS, Jammu celebrated ‘International Girl Child’s Day’

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) celebrated ‘International Girl Child’s Day’ on 11 th of October 2023 by honouring Ms. Roshni Arora, Alumni of our institution.

The session commenced with a warm welcome to our Alumni by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma. The Alumini Ms. Roshni Arora is working as key relationship manager in ICICI prudential since 5 years.

The focus of the program was to aware students about the women empowerment and the importance of a girl child in the society. She enlightened the students by raising awareness about the unique challenges and opportunities that girls face about the world. She also highlighted the gender equality and need to invest in girl’s rights and well-being.

Thereafter, the event was followed by the Alumni being felicitated by Director, IMS

The session concluded with the formal vote of thanks by, Cordinator Management department Mrs Divya Jamwal.
