Faculty Development Program on Data Analytics organised for the faculty of IMS, Jammu

The Institute of Management Sciences, Jammu organized a Faculty Development Programme on 17th August, 2023 in the college campus. Dr. Vipin Khurana was the resource person for the FDP. Dr. Vipin Khurana, Executive MBA (IIT Delhi), MSc (Mathematics), PhD – Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow; is working as Faculty & Area Coordinator (Analytics) at IBS Gurgaon. He has a proven background in Academics, Research and Administrative positions of more than 20years and has published over 30 Research Papers in his career.

The focus of the program was to upgrade and enhance the knowledge of faculty members in the field of data analytics. During the FDP, he provides  a deep insight of data science to the faculty members.

The session was commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director IMS who stressed on the importance of the  knowledge of data analytics  in taking decisions based on real and data driven facts there by creating value through data. The FDP was attended by the faculty of IMS as well as YCET. The session was concluded by a formal Vote of Thanks presented by Computer science Coordinator, Mrs. Sheetal Sharma.
