Social Club of IMS, Jammu organized a Charitable Drive

On the Eve of Swami Vivekananda jayanti and National Youth Day, IMS organised a Charitable Drive under the umbrella of Social club to promote the responsibility of giving back to the society on 12th of Jan, 2023.

Students from Management as well Computer science department along with teaching and non- teaching staff of the institution contributed enthusiastically for the cause to aid philanthropy amongst themselves.

The faculty along with the Student council collected the required materials and distributed them among various organisations.

The drive commenced with a visit to Resident for Blind School (Boys & Girls) in Roop Nagar followed by a visit to Orphanage, Ved Mandir located in Amphalla. The last location on this drive was Home for Aged people situated in Amphalla, Jammu.

The students, interacted with the kids as well as the senior citizens placed in these institutions and the interaction along with the aid distribution made the whole experience worthwhile for them.
