IMS organised Digital Marketing Workshop
A workshop on Digital Marketing was organized on 28th February, 2020 by Institute of Management Sciences, at its premises for the students of MBA and BBA 6th semester students.
Mr. Rajinder K. Gupta was the resource person for the workshop. Mr. Gupta has about 25 years of experience in corporate world in organizations such as LG and Panasonic. Currently, he is the owner of a Digital Marketing company where he offers his expertise in online marketing techniques.
The program started with presentation of Bouquet to the Resource person by Dean Academics, Prof. S.K. Gupta. After this, Director IMS, Dr. J. R. Dhotra formally welcomed the expert speaker and introduced him to the faculty and the students. Mr. Gupta opened the session with discussing the importance of digital marketing in today’s era and explained how it has become more and more relevant with the onset of internet age. It was a highly interactive session wherein the students were encouraged to participate through questions and queries.
The program ended with presentation of a memento to the guest by Director IMS, which was followed by a formal Vote of Thanks by Prof. S. K. Gupta. He described the session as highly informative and interesting and hoped that such interactions with corporate personalities will provide a good insight into corporate world to the students of the institute.
