Republic Day celebration at IMS, Jammu

Institute of Management Sciences celebrated the 74th Republic day in the campus along with the faculty members and students of management and computer sciences departments.

The celebration initiated with the flag raising ceremony hoisted by Er. Vidhi S. Singh , Chairman JGEI group along with Er. Renu Bangroo, MD JGEI group. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma,Director IMS, Er. Nidhi Jamwal, Cheif Coordinator, IMS along with the faculty members, non- teaching staff and students. Following the flag hoisting, competitions for the students were also organised to engage students and enhance their knowledge base and patriotism in reference to the country’s democratic history and its constitution.

 

The various events organised on the eve of Republic day were Singing competition, Quiz competition and Declamation competition where students participated enthusiastically to commemorate the celebration in all its fervour.

The winners for the competitions are as follows:-

Singing competition –

1st position – Ujval Manhas BCA 5th sem

2nd position – Aryan Anthal BCA 3rd sem

Declamation competition

1st position – Bhagesh wangoo- BBA 3rd sem

2nd – Bhavishya – BCA 3rd Sem

Quiz Competition

1st position – Prajakta Koul & Shubhangi Mishra – BBA 5th Sem

2nd position – Lovish Thakur & Divyansh Singh – BBA 5th Sem
